Registration available for the 2023 STEM San Joaquin Conference

The STEM San Joaquin Conference, formerly known as San Joaquin Expanding Your Horizons, invites students grades 6-12 to register for its annual event happening on Saturday, Oct. 7, at the University of the Pacific in Stockton.

Designed to increase interest in and foster awareness of careers in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM), the conference offers opportunities for students to explore and learn more about STEM fields.

Registration is available on the STEM San Joaquin website. The event runs from 8 a.m.–3 p.m, and check-in starts at 8:15 a.m.

The daylong agenda includes a surprise keynote speaker and hands-on workshops, providing opportunities to meet and interact with positive role models actively engaged in STEM-related careers. This year’s theme is “Take a bite out of STEM.”

The $20 registration fee includes a T-shirt, lunch, giveaways and chances to win door prizes. Fee waivers are available for students who are not able to pay the registration fee.
